Cost-sharing Initiatives in Tororo District

ABSTRACT

Background: This study was carried out under the auspices of the Tororo Community Health project; TORCH; a research and training programme aimed at following the developments in the health system; its utilisation and people's health condition in Tororo district over the next ten years. It is a collaborative programme funded by DANIDA; linking researchers from Child Health and Development Centre; Makerere University with researchers from two Danish Universities; namely Aarhus and Copenhagen.
