ABSTRACT
The authors report a series of 23 cases of systemic sclerosis with special emphasis on gastro-intestinal involvement all the patients underwent clinical and radio-endoscopic evaluation. Esophagus and small bowel are the most commonly involved organs [74% and 30.4% respectively]. Colon and stomach involvement is much rarer. The frequency and the clinical and radio-endoscopic aspects of gastro-intestinal involvement in systemic sclerosis are discussed in view of the relevant literature
