ABSTRACT
A rare case of primary adenocarcinoma of the renal pelvis in an adolescent boy is reported. Clinicopathological findings are discussed and the available relevant literature is briefly reviewed

Between the years 1974 and 1985, 18 cases of Fournier's Disease have been diagnosed, hospitalized and treated. Their ages varied from 3 to 73 years. The majority of patients were elderly and the illness had gradual onset. Bacteriological studies showed that Klebsiella, Staph aureus and E. Coli were the prevailing infectious agents. Urethral strictures, diabetes mellitus and trauma were the predisposing factors leading to this disease. Treatment consisted of complete debridement and the administration of antibiotics. The mortality rate of the disease in this study was 22%
