Statistical analysis of the data revealed a significant increase in the level of serum glucose in all histologic types [P< 0.001, P< 0.02, P< 0.01 and P< 0.001]. The change in this parameter pre and post operatively might be of value in staging and follow up of patients with bronchogenic carcinoma.
