ABSTRACT
Amino acids pattern were determined in seminal plasma of two groups of buffalo. There is a significant difference [P<0.01] between the amino acids pattern of the two groups of buffalo bulls [3 and 10 years old]. It was found that the glutamic acid is the major amino acid present in buffalo seminal plasma. The analysis revealed that histidine, serine and methionine were significantly [P<0.05] correlated with the percentage of live sperm [r=-0.54; -0.65 and -0.57 respectively]. The total proteins were also assayed. It was found that the total proteins were significantly higher in young [Group 1] than in old buffalo [Group 2]. The total proteins concentration were significantly correlated with the percentage of motile spermatozoa and the percentage of live sperm
