ABSTRACT

Aims: This study was done to realize the role that can be played by religious programmes on space channels and its relation to the acquisition of the concept of moderation in Islam

Methodology: The study used Survey method both descriptive and analytical

Sample: This was done on a sample of religious programmes on space channels from I/ II 2013 to 307 9/ 2013, and a sample of 400 people of Ain Shams and Menofeya Universities

Tools: The scholar used tools of content analysis and questionnaire to collect information and data as well as using different statistical coefficients to find out results as T-test, one-way contrast analysis, Spearman factor, post tests LSD way... etc to test credibility and stability

Results: Here are some of them, The religious programmes in the sample have been interested in ethics and dealings [good manners-visiting relatives-spreading greetings-supporting the weak-kindness, fidelity and patience-honesty-truth-banning cheating-helping the needy and ...etc]. All these have come first in the target sample by 28.28% This percentage is normal due to the nature of the period through which Egypt has gone-after two revolutions 25th January and 30th June. Egypt suffered greatly from lack of security, the increase in crime rate and other problems that accompanied this period, so those programmes had to emphasis on ethics, dealings and treatments, Also, those programmes have been interested in beliefs [faith in Alluh, prophets and angels-faith in the unknown-faith in heavenly Books]. These came second by 21.93%, TV religious programmes are interested in introducing Islam through the concept of moderation by 80.12% for 3.96% the opposite side, and Finally, it has been proved that both of the first and the second hypothesis are correct
