ABSTRACT
Forty patients with chronic hepatitis-C infection of various histopathologic findings were selected. Clinical, biochemical, serological, ultrasonic studies beside DNA image analysis of hepatocytes were assessed for all patients. The results of this work demonstrated that the value of detection of hepatocytes DNA content as an early indicator of neoplastic change in chronic hepatitis-C patients, particularly when the nuclear morphology of hepatocytes, is inconclusive
