ABSTRACT

Retinoblastoma is the most common intraocular malignancy of childhood, yet over all it is relatively rare, affecting 1 in 18,000 to 30,000 live births. The prognosis for life is 92% if the tumor is detected early; however, greater than 95% mortality is documented for cases with advanced presentation. This paper discusses incidence, diagnosis, histopathology, and treatment of retinoblastoma
