Objective To explore the effect of formaldehyde on learning and memory and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in the cerebral tissues. Methods 40 ICR mice were randomly divided into four gropes: A-control group (NS was added into water bottle), B, C, D-three formaldehyde dose groups (0.1, 0.2, 0.4% formaldehyde solution were added into water bottles). After 30 days of treatment, the ability of learning and memory were evaluated by Morris watermaze test and step-down test and the activity of SOD in the cerebral tissues was determined. Results In the Morris watermaze test (the fifth day), escapelaten latence in group C[ (29.23?5.56)s] and D[ (37.36?7.39)s] were significantly longer than group A[ (21.65?5.81)s](P

Objective To study the mechanisms of Re Bi granule on treating RA.Methods Make SD maleness rats Adjuvant-Induced Arthritis(AA)which was derived by Freund's complete adjuvant(CFA)as investigation object.Make Wang Bi granule as positive control medicine,and divide it into six groups(blank group,model group,control group,Infusion of Re Bi granule high dose group and midst dose group and low dose group).Observe Re Bi granule's influence and mechanism to synovial cell apoptosis and T cell subsets.Results Re Bi granule could distinctly heighten synovial cell apoptosis ratio of AA rats,heighten CD8+cell's number and reduce CD4+cell's number,lower CD4+/CD8+ ratio,adjust T cells for two-way.Conclusion Re Bi granule not only is an effective treatment way for rheumatoid arthritis,but also can improve the abnormal immune status.

Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Pyretic Arthralgia granules in treating rheumatoid arthritis of moist heat arthralgia spasm syndrome,so as to provide scientific evidence in clinical Medication.Methods: Adopted random and positive parallel contrast methods,60 cases of active stage rheumatoid arthritis(RA) patients whom were differentiated of symptoms and signs as moist heat arthralgia spasm syndrome were divided into groups.Experimental group took Pyretic Arthralgia granules 2.0 g every time and 3 times a day orally;control group took Loxonin orally,60 mg every time and 3 times a day.Both course of treatment in two sets were 4 weeks.Results: Experimental group and control group all could improve present symptoms,physical signs and physical-chemical index.There was not significance variance in two groups comparing the disease therapeutic effect with the therapeutic effect of syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine.Conclusion: Pyretic Arthralgia granules has the effects of detumescence,alleviating pain and improving Joint function,and has not obvious poison and side reaction.It is good for further generalizing and applying.

The methods for measurement of blood flow contain dilution, electro-magnetism, nuclear magnetic resonance, Doppler etc. The dilution, which includes heat dilution, 131Xe, etc., can not display the moving blood flow in real-time. The expenses of nuclear magnetic resonance expenses are very high. Electromagnetism must be used in the surgical operation. And ultrasound Doppler can not record other parameters of hemodynamics synchronously. This paper brings up a kind of blood flow measuring method with simple operating rules, dependable performance, and low cost to meet the needs in hemodynamic studies. The differential pressure between stay and fluxion points of the tube is produced in proportion to the square of velocity while fluid flows through the tube. We not only measure blood pressure or transfer drug using the detention catheter with double chamber, but also detect the differential pressure related within blood flow. The result of detecting cerebral blood flow (CBF) in clinical setting shows this method can record the diagram of dynamic blood flow and is a valid was of detecting blood flow for hemodynamic studies.

Objective: To identify Tongren Wujibaifeng Pills and Xiaoshuanzaizao Pills respectively by analysis of IR fingerprint. Methods: Both drugs were extracted with hexane, ether and butanone and then the extracts obtained were measured with FT IR spectrometer. Results: By analizing IR fingerprint of 25 batches Tongren Wujibaifeng Pills and 31 batches Xiaoshuanzaizao Pills, we found that different batches of the same drug have stable and repeatable fingerprint. Conclusion: By using IR fingerprint, either Tongren Wujibaifeng Pills and Xiaoshuanzaizao Pills can be identified. It provides a rapid method for drug identification and quality control.
