Fibromyalgia, insomnia, and depression

The objective of the present report is to verify the existence of a depressive syndrome in patients with fibromyalgia and isomnia. Seven female patients were studied, previously diagnosed as suffering from fibromyalgia and insomnia. They ranged in age from 43 to 61 years and were assessed by Beck's Depression Inventory. Four patients revealed a major depressive syndrome and three a minor one
