ABSTRACT
Nesta pesquisa foram analisados os conceitos de ser pessoa idosa e dequalidade de vida, a partir da perspectiva de idosos aposentados e pensionistas do Ministério da Fazenda, participantes de um grupo de Terapia Ocupacional. Utilizou-se a abordagem qualitativa, seguindo a metodologia do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Verificou-se que o significado de ser pessoa idosa é bastante heterogêneo, enquanto que, para avaliar sua qualidade de vida, os idosos estudados utilizaram ideias que foram agrupadas em sete dimensões, a saber: psicológica, saúde, convívio social, cidadania, economia, autonomia e família.
In this research the concepts of being an elder person and of quality of life, were evaluated from the perspective of retired elders and retired employees of the Ministry of Finance that were part of a group of Occupational Therapy. It was utilized a qualitative approach, that followed the Collective Subject Discourse. It was verified that the meaning of being elder is rather heterogeneous, on the other hand, to evaluate their quality of life, the researched elders utilized ideias that were grouped on seven dimensions, namely: psychological, health, social interaction, citizenship, economy, autonomy and family.
