O confessional para além do íntimo: luto como efeito estético na escritura de Virginia Woolf / The confessional beyond the intimate: mourning as aesthetical effect in Virginia Woolf's writing

Propomo-nos, a partir de dados obtidos em estudos antes realizados, a discorrer sobre algumas das marcas do universo literário de Virgínia Woolf. Para tanto, levaremos em consideração uma particularidade de sua escritura: a recorrente e impactante presença da morte em sua narrativa, a qual revelou-se ser o índice de um modo de defesa frente ao encontro com o real. Considera-se que o caráter confessional de sua escritura assume uma forma e função inédita na literatura moderna, não podendo ser entendido a não ser em referência à dificuldade experimentada pela escritora em enfrentar os lutos sucessivos de familiares e pessoas que lhe eram queridas, o que a levou a se fazer valer da criação como forma de auxílio à lida com a dimensão inassimilável dessas perdas. Ao contrário de outras narrativas de caráter confessional, que primam pela produção da atmosfera do íntimo, defendemos que a sua produz, diferentemente, no leitor, o luto como efeito estético, contaminando-o com o sem sentido da existência.

Our goal with this paper is to discuss about some of the features of the literary universe of Virginia Woolf, starting from conclusions obtained in previous studies. To do so, we will take in consideration a particularity of her writing: the recurrent and shocking presence of death in her narrative, which has shown to be an indication of a way to defend herself against the encounter with the Real. We consider that the confessional aspect of her writing becomes a new role in modern literature, which can only be understood as reference to her difficulty in facing successive mournings of family and loved ones, fact that led her to use her own writing is help in the struggle with these unassimilable losses. On contrary of other confessional nararatives, that cherish the creation of an intimate atmosphere, we defend the Woolf's writing create, in the reader, a mourning as aesthetical effect, contaminating it with the meanless of existence

Com esse artigo, pretendemos contribuir no sentido de realizar, a partir de levantamento de estudos psicanalíticos que se ocuparam da escritora Virginia Woolf, o mapeamento das principais contribuições temáticas dos mesmos e o modo como elas são examinadas pelos autores. Com isso, buscaremos refletir sobre o alcance desses trabalhos e em que medida eles podem confluir com outras faces da obra e da vida da autora que podem ser de interesse para futuras pesquisas em psicanálise ou que possam vir a servir de referência para a retomada de sua literatura a partir de outros recortes temáticos passíveis de exame analítico. Como critério metodológico da escolha dos estudos a serem analisados, optamos por selecionar apenas os textos de referência em nossa área de estudos, entendendo por isso, aqueles que são mais citados e comentados em trabalhos sobre a autora

Dans cet article, nous avons l'intention de contribuer dans le sens de concevoir, à partir d'une recherche basé sur des études psychanalytiques qui concernent l'écrivain Virginia Woolf, une cartographie de leurs principales contributions thématiques et de la façon dont elles sont examinées par les auteurs. Avec cela, nous allons essayer de réfléchir l'ampleur de ces travaux et dans quelle mesure ils peuvent converger vers d'autres aspects de la vie et de l'oeuvre de Virginia Woolf, ceux qui pourraient intéresser aux recherches futures en psychanalyse ou qui pourraient servir de référence pour la reprise de sa littérature à partir d'autres cadres thématiques pouvant être analysés. Comme critère méthodologique du choix des études à analyser, nous avons choisi de ne sélectionner que les textes de référence dans notre domaine d'étude, c'est-à-dire ceux qui sont le plus cités et commentés sur les œuvres de l'auteur

With this paper, we intend to contribute in realizing, through the data collection of psychoanalytic studies on the writer Virginia Woolf, a maping process of its main subjects and how they are examined by their authors. By doing this, we aim to reflect onthe reach of such studies and how they may converge with other aspects of the writer's life and work, that could either be of interest for future researches on psychoanalysis or could be used as reference on studies of Woolf's literature through other themes which could be object of analytical exam. As methodological criteria for selecting which studies should be analysed, we chose only those that are referenced in our field of work, so understood those that are most quoted and comented in papers about the writer

Um palácio abandonado: um estudo sobre a psicose na infância / An abandoned palace: a study on childhood psychosis

No domínio da produção teórica em psicanálise, há um vasto campo de formulações acerca das manifestações das psicoses na infância e de suas consequências para as suas práticas clínicas. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo a discussão de um caso clínico de psicose na infância, tomando como balizadores as questões relativas à transferência. As concepções psicanalíticas de constituição de sujeito e suas relações com o trabalho na transferência foram brevemente discutidas, sobretudo, a partir do interesse em destacar as particularidades do caso, para então aproximá-las ou distanciá-las das concepções teóricas existentes sobre a psicose na infância. A escrita do presente estudo de caso tem como pano de fundo a experiência no Núcleo de Atenção a Crianças e Adolescentes (NAIA) do Hospital de Saúde Mental Professor Frota Pinto em Fortaleza, Ceará, no qual se realizou o atendimento de orientação psicanalítica de uma criança com diagnóstico psiquiátrico de esquizofrenia paranoide.

In the domain of the theoretical production in Psychoanalysis, there is a wide field of ruminations about childhood psychosis' manifestations and its consequences to the clinical practice. The following work aims to discuss a clinical case of childhood psychosis, taking as landmarks the questions related to the transference. The psychoanalytical concepts of subject's constitution and its relations to the clinical practice were briefly discussed for the purpose of highlighting the particularities of the case, in order to approximate or to distinguish them from the existing theoretical concepts on childhood psychosis. According to the case studied, one concludes that the structural delineation allowed a treatment's handling, which made possible to insert the subject into the transference and thus made possible the treatment itself. The background of this case study's writting is the experience at Núcleo de Atenção a Crianças e Adolescentes (NAIA) from Professor Frota Pinto Mental Hospital in Fortaleza, Ceará, where the author has been responsible for the psychoanalytical oriented treatment of a child, who has received a psychiatrical diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia.
