ABSTRACT
O estudo foi realizado em um Núcleo de Práticas Judiciárias de uma instituição federal de ensino superior e teve como objetivo caracterizar a demanda atendida pelo serviço de Psicologia no local. A pesquisa foi de caráter quantitativo, realizada por meio de análise documental. Os resultados apontam que, no período em estudo, as mulheres foram as que mais procuraram o local com o propósito de buscar auxílio para a resolução de conflitos familiares; a maior demanda foi a de pensão alimentícia, contudo queixas relacionadas à guarda, visitação dos filhos, separação e dissolução de união estável também estiveram presentes. Destaca-se o serviço de Psicologia e a prática da mediação como alternativas para resolução de conflitos familiares, sobretudo quando se está diante da dissolução da união conjugal.
The study was conducted at the center of legal practices in a federal institution of higher education and it aimed to characterize the user's demand met by the Psychology department at the institution. The research was quantitative, conducted through documental analysis. The results indicate that, during the period under study, women would look more often for the service to seek help to solve family conflicts; being alimony their greater demand. However, complaints related to custody, visitation, separation and dissolution of stable unions were also in attendance. The department of Psychology and the practice of mediation are emphasized as alternatives for solving family conflicts, especially when facing the dissolution of the conjugal union.
