ABSTRACT
Objetivo: relatar a experiência vivenciada durante uma atividade denominada captação da realidade de uma unidade básica de saúde da família à luz da teoria clássica da administração. Método: a atividade decorreu da disciplina Processo Gerenciar da Enfermagem, ministrada no quinto período do curso de Graduação em Enfermagem - UERN. Foi realizada em setembro de 2010, em uma Unidade Básica de Saúde da Família (UBSF) do município de Caicó/RN, lançando-se mão da observação, de roteiro norteador baseado no referencial metodológico de Egry e de conversas com profissionais da UBSF. Resultados: no espaço da referida UBSF, é possível identificar diversas características da Teoria Clássica. No entanto certas características da teoria que poderiam contribuir positivamente com o funcionamento da unidade não foram observadas. Conclusão: a captação da realidade proporcionou ao estudante de enfermagem a oportunidade de perceber aspectos práticos da teoria clássica da administração nos serviços de saúde e no âmbito da equipe de enfermagem.
Objective: this study aimed to report the experience undergone during an activity called reality capture, at a basic family health unit, from the viewpoint of classical administration theory. Method: the activity originated from the Nursing Process Management course, given in the fifth term of the undergraduate program in Nursing, at UERN. It was conducted in September 2010 at a Basic Family Health Unit (BFHU) in the municipality of Caicó/RN, making use of observation, of a guiding script based on the methodological framework of Egry, and of interactions with professionals at the BFHU. Results: in the area of this BFHU, it is possible to identify several characteristics of the Classical Theory. However, certain aspects of the theory that could contribute positively to the functioning of the unit were not observed. Conclusion: the reality capture provided the student nurse the opportunity to perceive practical aspects of the classical theory of administration in health services and in the context of the nursing team.
