ABSTRACT
In dogs under morphine-chloralose anesthesia, 5 HT produced a prominent motor stimulation of the duodenum, the characteristics of which are described. Part of the motor response to 5 HT in these dogs involves atropine-sensitive receptors which require relatively larger amounts of 5 HT in order to be stimulated. (Summary)
