ABSTRACT

Objective@#To explore the association between light intensity physical activity (LPA) and sedentary behavior (SB) with body composition, so as to provide data references for improving adolescent physical health.@*Methods@#From August 2020 to January 2021, general information of 694 students in grade one of a high school in Foshan City was collected, and the 24 hour activity behavior and body composition of the students were measured objectively by triaxial accelerometer and bioelectrical impedance tester. Dual component multivariate regression and dual compositional isotemporal substitution model were used to explore the relationship between LPA and SB and body composition.@*Results@#LPA was associated with lower fat relative dominance (FRD) (male weekends FRD=-21.44%, female weekly FRD=-17.83%, weekdays FRD=-18.27%, P <0.05), and LPA was also associated with higher muscle relative dominance (MRD) and bone relative dominance (BRD) (male weekends MRD=12.78%, BRD= 12.87 %; female weekly MRD=11.64%, BRD=9.01%; female weekdays MRD=12.02%, BRD=9.23%, P <0.05). Replacing sedentary behavior (SB) with 10 minutes of LPA could reduce fat proportion [male:weekly -0.15(-0.26--0.04), weekdays -0.12 (-0.22--0.02); female:weekly -0.18(-0.27--0.08), weekdays -0.16(-0.25--0.07)) and increase muscle proportion (male:weekly 0.14(0.03-0.24), weekdays 0.11(0.02-0.21); female:weekly 0.17(0.07-0.26), weekdays 0.15(0.07-0.24)].@*Conclusion@#Interrupting continuous SB with LPA can serve as an intervention measure to promote physical health and fitness in adolescents. School should encourage students to engage in frequent LPA during breaks and after school activities, while avoiding prolonged SB.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the relationship between posttraumatic growth and fear of cancer recurrence in patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy. Methods:The Posttraumatic Growth Inventory-C (PTGI-C) and the Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory-Chinese Version (FCRI-CV) were used in the Tai'an Central Hospital of Shandong Province and the Second Affiliated Medicine of Shandong First Medical University. A cross-sectional survey was conducted in 208 patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy. Results:The total score of posttraumatic growth of breast cancer patients during chemotherapy period was 65.80±12.36, which was at the middle level. The total score of fear of cancer recurrence was 79.52 ±18.15, which was at the low-medium level. The total score of posttraumatic growth of breast cancer patients during chemotherapy was negatively correlated with the total score of fear of cancer recurrence ( r=-0.449, P<0.01). Conclusion:Posttraumatic growth of breast cancer patients during chemotherapy is closely related to fear of cancer recurrence. The higher the level of posttraumatic growth, the lower the fear of cancer recurrence. This suggests that the fear of cancer recurrence can be reduced by improving the growth level of patients after trauma.

ABSTRACT

Gastric cancer is a high-risk tumor in China, with high malignant degree, high mortality and poor prognosis.Hematological indexes are preoperative routine examination with low prices.Hematological indexes (such as tumor markers, inflammation index, etc) can be used to overall evaluate tumor size, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and recurrence of gastric cancer patients, which are helpful for us to better understand the surgical risks, and take preventive measures and improve the survival rate.

ABSTRACT

Studies have found that obesity is not only closely related with the occurrence and development of breast cancer, but also can significantly increase the risk of breast cancer recurrence and death, especially the occurrence of postmenopausal estrogen receptor positive breast cancer. Therefore,it is of great importance to understand the influence of obesity on the prognosis of breast cancer. The intervene of diet and lifestyle, metformin and other drags, and other obesity targeted therapies have provided direction for future research on these influence.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate whether and what staining techniques are applied to the ultrathin sheet plastination slice and whether the stained specimen is of autofluorescences .Methods A cadaveric hand block was plastinated and then sectioned as a series of 300-400μm thick transverse sections .A total of 56 slices in total .Alternative sections were stained with hematoxylin -eosin staining ( HE) , Verhoeff -Van Gieson staining ( VVG) or methylene blue and azureⅡstaining(MA).The stained slices were examined under a light microscope and a confocal microscope .Results The plastinated slices were stained with the three staining methods .HE staining revealed the muscle and connective tissues were red or violet , bone was violet or blue;VVG staining showed the elastic fibers was black , the collagen was red , and other tissues were yellow .MA staining showed the tendon was violet , the bone was pink , cartilage was violet , and other tissues were purple. However, the intracellular structures appeared not very well stained .The collagen, elastin and muscular structures in the stained slices were observed under a confocal microscope .Conclusion The commonly used histology staining methods can be used to stain the ultrathin sheet plastination slices .The staining provides a better observation of various tissues in the slice than the unstained slice .After staining, those autofluorescent structures in the plastinated slice are detectable under a confocal microscope .

ABSTRACT

Indoor air cleaner may improve indoor air quality which is closely related to the human health. The removal efficiency is one of important indicators to evaluate indoor air-cleaning devices. The indoor air cleaning techniques and its application were briefly introduced and the technique of evaluating indoor air cleaner for particle removal efficiency including choosing representative experimental particle, evaluation indicator and test rig were reviewed and discussed in the present paper.

ABSTRACT

Objective To know the hygienic administration status of central air conditioning system(CACS)and the Legionella contamination of cooling water in public places; and to identify the risk factors for legionella contamination associated with hygienic administration measures of CACS. Methods One hundred and forty-eight public places with CACS were recruited and the hygienic administration status was investigated by questionnaire survey in Sep. 2008. The culture methods were used to identify Legionella in cooling water. Results Positive rate of Legionella pneumophila in cooling water was 68.1%, 65.1% and 66.7% respectively in the condition of disinfection, preservative (detergent) and regular examination of the cooling water. The positive rate of Legionella pneumophila in cooling water was 92%, 87.7% and 84.7% respectively without disinfection, preservative, detergent and regular examination of the cooling water. Conclusion Disinfection, preservative, detergent and regular examination of the cooling water can reduce Legionella contamination risk.
