ABSTRACT
Neste trabalho será realizada, após a domesticação teórica do olhar através do método etnográfico, próprio da antropologia, uma busca pela compreensão dos microssistemas existentes no sistema penal. Serão analisados os atores do microcosmo Presídio Regional de Santa Maria, através do acompanhamento in loco das aulas ministradas na Escola Julieta Ballestro, localizada no interior do PRSM. O atual sistema penal é contestado diariamente, por vários meios de comunicação. Assim, é necessário buscar compreender por meio do conceito semiótico de cultura (considera a cultura como as teias de significado às quais o homem está amarrado), como se dá a aceitação do tratamento dado ao encarcerado tanto pela sociedade em geral como pelo próprio recluso.
This work will be performed after the domestication of theoretical look through the ethnography of anthropology itself, a quest for understanding of the micro-systems in the criminal justice system. We will analyze the actors in the micro-cosmos Presídio Regional de Santa Maria through on-site monitoring of all classes in the School Julieta Ballestro, located within the PRSM. The current criminal justice system is challenged every day through various media, so it is necessary to try to understand through the semiotic concept of culture (consider culture as webs of meaning to which man is tied) how is the acceptance of treatment imprisoned by both the society in general and by the inmate.
