ABSTRACT
Se realizó una investigación prospectiva experimental y descriptiva para conocer los resultados de la terapia neural en 71 pacientes con faringitis crónica examinados en la consulta de otorrinolaringología del Hospital Provincial Clínico Quirúrgico Docente Manuel Ascunce Doménech de Camagüey, desde septiembre de 2002 a septiembre de 2004. Predominaron las edades comprendidas entre los 26 y 45 años en 52 pacientes y el sexo femenino (41 mujeres). Los síntomas más frecuentes fueron el ardor, la carraspera y el escozor faringeo, con la mejoría notable después del tratamiento. Se demostró que 53 (74.6 %) pacientes tratados con terapia neural respondieron satisfactoriamente a este tratamiento.
An experimental prospective and descriptive research to know the results of the neural therapy in 71 patients with chronic pharyngitis examined in the otorhinolaryngology consultation at Manuel Ascunce Domenech Educational Surgical Clinical Hospital of Camagüey, from September 2002 to September 2004. The ages between 26 and 45 years in 52 patients and feminine sex (41 women), predominated. The most frequent symptoms were the ardor, the hoarseness and the pharyngeal irritation, with the remarkable improvement after the treatment. The 53 patients (74.6 %)treated with neural therapy responded to this treatment satisfactorily, was demonstrated.
