ABSTRACT
O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a correlação entre equilíbrio, a marcha e o cognitivo de idosas. Foram avaliadas 20 idosas, com média de 70,70 ± 9,14 anos. Os instrumentos utilizados foram o Teste de Tinetti e o Mini-Exame do Estado Mental. Houve correlação significativa leve, somente entre a marcha e o MEEM (r=0,478, p<0,03), constatando que a marcha esta diretamente associada a concentração e coordenação, influenciada pelo cognitivo.
The aim of this study was to verify the correlation between balance, gait and cognitive elderly. 20 participants were evaluated with a mean of 70.70 ± 9.14 years. The instruments used were the Mini-Mental State Examination Test and Tinetti. There was a slight significant correlation only between the march and the MMSE (r=0.478, p<0.03), noting that the march is directly associated with the concentration and coordination, influenced by cognitive.
