ABSTRACT

Se informa de una paciente con diagnóstico de carcinoma epidermoide bien diferenciado, infiltrante de cuello uterino, en estadío II B que desarrolla infiltración a órganos vecinos en un período de ocho meses. Se le aplicó tratamiento radiante con un total de 36Gg, lo abandona durante tres meses y regresa con empeoramiento de su cuadro inicial. Se completa el tratamiento a dosis máxima con DTT 60Gg. Sin embargo, continuó el empeoramiento que la llevó a múltiples ingresos por anemia e insuficiencia renal, y al fallecimiento nueve meses después.


We report a patient with diagnosis of a well-differentiated epidermoid carcinoma, infiltrating the cervinx, stage II within a period of 8 months. This carcinoma in about 85% of cases being frequent the great volume of diagnosis (1). According to authors, the cervix cancer is the final stage of a continuos series progresively atypical changes, in which a stage is imperceptibely confounded with The following one, due to the fact that the study of neoplasias has been an exceptional discovery and that the cervix cancer is originated from precursor or preinvasive lesions. During this long period, the disease may be treated with Papanicolaus's incidence and death for cervix cancer.
