ABSTRACT
Os desastres, em suas diversas formas de manifestação, provocam danos significativos para a rede de saúde principalmente no momento em que os serviços essenciais precisam continuar operando para proteger a vida e o bem-estar da população. Este estudo teve por objetivo introduzir o conceito de gestão prospectiva do risco de desastres nas decisões relativas à infraestrutura da rede de saúde do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica na qual foram sistematizados e analisados textos e documentos técnicos e científicos sobre desastres encontrados em meio eletrônico, documentos de órgãos públicos e organismos internacionais. Foram identificados instrumentos que facilitam o monitoramento dos estabelecimentos da rede de serviços de saúde nas três esferas de gestão do SUS, permitindo a aplicação de procedimentos de gestão de risco corretiva e prospectiva.
Disasters, in their various manifestations, cause significant harm to the health system particularly at the time that the essential services must continue working to protect the lives and welfare of the population. This study aimed to introduce the concept of prospective managing of disaster risk in decisions concerning the infrastructure of the health network of the Unified Health System (Sistema Único de Saúde SUS). This is a literature review in which texts and documents on scientific and technical disasters found in the electronic media, documents from government agencies and international organizations were organized and analyzed. Instruments were identified that facilitate the monitoring of health services establishments network in the three spheres of SUS management allowing the application of risk management procedures and corrective foresight
