ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the relationship between daily outdoor activity time both on and off campus and respiratory symptoms of junior middle school students, then to provide evidence for the prevention of respiratory diseases in adolescents.@*Methods@#In 2016, two middle schools were selected in Wuhan,in which a total of 860 eighth grade students were surveyed, generalized linear analysis was conducted by SAS 9.4 software. @*Results@#Average outdoor activity time out of campus during weekdays in boys and was (1.84±2.30) hours, which was higher than in girls (1.51±1.99) hours (t=2.19, P<0.05). Average outdoor activity time in campus in boys was (1.74±1.50) hours, which was significantly higher than that of girls (1.49±1.20) hours (t=2.68, P<0.05). According to the results of generalized linear analysis, after controlled for gender, age and self-perceived physical condition, the longer the time adolescents spent outside the classroom during weekday, the less likely they were to have symptoms of throat and nasal cavity(estimated value=-0.06,-0.07, P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#Adolescents who spend more time outside the classroom during weekday can effectively prevent the occurrence of respiratory related diseases.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study whether the positive psychological capital intervention could improve the level of psychological capital and the will of retention of clinical nurses. Methods A randomized controlled trials was conducted. The control group did not take any psychological intervention;Intervention group was given psychological capital intervention, which was conducted for 7 weeks (once a week, 1-2 hours per time). It used Nurses′ Psychological Capital Questionnaire and Nurses′ Retention Intention Questionnaire to evaluate the participants before and after intervention. Results There were no statistical differences between intervention group and control group in the score of Nurses′Psychological Capital Questionnaire (84.74 ± 10.04 vs. 86.16 ± 8.57,P > 0.05 ) and Nurses′ Retention Intention Questionnaire ( 19.21±3.47 vs. 18.54±3.41,P>0.05 ) on the day before intervention. The score of Nurses′Psychological Capital Questionnaire of intervention group was 93.89 ± 7.10 on the intervention day and 93.60 ± 6.88 three months later while the control group scored 84.41 ± 6.58 and 83.92 ± 9.31.The intervention group was statistically lower than the control group (t=6.156, 5.155, P<0.05) .And the score of Nurses Retention Intention Questionnaire was 22.42±2.66 on the intervention day and 22.24±2.61 three months later while the control group scored 18.61 ± 3.08 and 19.21 ± 3.47. The intervention group was statistically lower than the control group (t=5.866, 4.292, P<0.05). Conclusions Positive psychological capital intervention can improve the the will of retention of clinical nurses.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the intervention effect of integrated care including exercise therapy, example learning and psychological support to ease the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) related complications. Methods 40 cases were divided into the intervention group and the control group according to their hospital number, there were 20 cases in each group. The intervention group received integrated care and control group adopted traditional methods.HSCT symptoms scale was used to evaluate the intervention effects in 6 time points (the day before pretreatment, the day before HSCT,the 7th day,14th day,21th day and three months after HSCT).Results There were no statistical differences between the two groups in the score of HSCT scales on the day before pretreatment. The intervention group was statistically lower than the control group in the score of HSCT scales on the day before HSCT,the 7th day,14th day,21th day and three months after HSCT,P<0.05.Conclusion The integrated care can reduce HSCT complications and worthybe popularizing.

ABSTRACT

Objective To provide a good evaluation for research the hyperthyroidism drugs , two kinds of hyperthyroidism animal models were copied , and compared the similarities and differences of their formability and sustainability. Methods Euthyrox-induced model: The rat was taken Euthyrox (50μg· 100g-1 rat weight) for 21 d. And then the blood and urine were collected in 1 d, 7 d and 14 d after last time oral administration of Euthyrox;Yersiniaenterocolitica-induced model:the rats were injected Yersiniaenterocolitica (YE) in 0、5、10、15、20 (IOCV).And then the blood and urine were collected in 5d, 15d and 25d after last IOCV of YE.Results Euthyrox-induced model:T3, T4, FT3, FT4 were increased significantly , but returned normal 1 week later in the model group , PCA showed that model group deviated from the blank group , but recovered 2 weeks later; Yersiniaenterocolitica-induced model: T3 and T4 were increased significantly in 15 and 25 d, TSH significant raised in 25 d, the model group deviated from the blank group in PCA, and didn’t return to the blank group in 15d or 25d.Conclusion Euthyrox-induced modelhas good formability butrecovered quickly , which is suitable for prevention of drug delivery on efficacy evaluation; Yersiniaenterocolitica-induced model with good formability and sustainability could be used for treatment of drug delivery on efficacy evaluation .

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVEMetabonomics researches of Scutellariae Radix interfering pyretic pulmonary syndrome had been done, to determine the specific biomarkers of pyretic pulmonary syndrome, and to approach the mechanism that Scutellariae Radix interfered the variation of these biomarkers.

METHODMetabonomics technique, UPLC-Q-TOF/MS analytical means and PCA statistical methods were utilized to investigate the trajectory change and inter-relationship of urinary metabolome of rats treated differently.

RESULTSix specific biomarkers were determined which could represent Streptococcus pneumoniae-induced pyretic pulmonary syndrome in rats. Scutellariae Radix could significantly adjust the ascended biomarkers to the normal level. Meanwhile two of these biomarkers were identified as Delta-12-prostaglandin J2 and indoxyl sulfate.

CONCLUSIONThere was a good therapeutic function of Scutellariae Radix on pyretic pulmonary syndrome, which was elucidated on the metabolic aspects. There was also a correlationship between the mechanism of Scutellariae Radix curing pyretic pulmonary syndrome and the six specific biomarkers.

ABSTRACT

Objective To estabhsh a set of consummate evaluation methods of animal models which are with syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Methods By means of Streptococcus pneumoniae-induced pyretic pulmonary syndrome model for the entry point,in the base of the conventional evaluation methods, further attempt were made through metabonomies, through analyzing metabolic fingerprint data of rats'urine in the control group together with the model group and metabolome of rats'urine in model group at different times,in order to approach the evaluation methods of animal models. Results After rats were given Streptococctts pneumoniae through nose, compared with the control group, both the body temperature variance and lencocyte count in model group were statistically significant with P <0.01,pathological changes of lung was obvious;According to the metabolic results, metabolic profiles of rats'urine in model group changed and metabolome diverged obviously in scores plot, the research results of metabonomics were coincide with the results of macroscopy physical sign and pathological biochemistry of Pyrefic pulmonary syndrome. Conclusion Metabonomics can be used to evaluate the studies of animal models with syndromes of traditional Chinese medieine.
