ABSTRACT

Objective To study the clinical features and significance of the patients with dermatomyositis(DM)associated with interstitial lung disease(ILD).Methods216cases of DM were collected from the Peking Union Medical College Hospital from1970to1997.The criteria for the diagnosis of DM were based on the report of Bohan and Peter in1975.The mean follow-up period of these patients was5.8?4.7years(ranged from2to27years).The clinical manifestations and laboratory findings of32DM patients with ILD were analyzed and compared with those of184DM patients without ILD.Results As compared with DM patients without ILD,the DM patients with ILD were more likely to have fever(28.2%vs.6.5%,P

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of sibutramine (Reductile )in Chinese obese patients. Methods Obese adults (BMI 27~45 kg/m 2) in six research centers received sibutamine 10 mg or placebo one tablet each day with a controlled-energy diet for 24 weeks by randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled study. Results For intent-to-treat analysis, 125 sibutramine-treated subjects and 126 placebo-treated subjects were evaluated.
