ABSTRACT
Este artigo teve como objetivo conhecer e compreender o significado do trabalho na vida de seis aposentados da AAPS-Associação dos Aposentados e Pensionistas da Sabesp, São Paulo (SP); sendo que três deles, de início, pararam de trabalhar, voltando, porém, logo depois a trabalhar; três outros continuaram profissionalmente ativos mesmo após a aposentadoria. A metodologia baseou-se em pesquisa qualitativa com delineamento de estudo de caso coletivo. O conhecimento gerado demonstrou que o principal motivo para a continuação do trabalho não foi o fator financeiro e nem tampouco a gratificação do trabalho em si, mas a dificuldade em permanecer na convivência todo o tempo com suas famílias...
This study aims to know and understand the working meaning in the life of six retirees from the AAPS, São Paulo (SP); three stopped and returned and three remained professionally active.
