ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo determine the epidemiological characteristics and distributions of measles in Baoshan District, Shanghai. MethodsThis study used the measles surveillance information and reporting system to collect reported cases of measles in Baoshan District in 2005‒2021 and then conducted descriptive epidemiological methods to determine the temporality using the concentration method. ResultsIn 2005‒2021, a total of 525 measles cases were reported in Baoshan District with an average annual reported incidence rate of 1.75/105, showing an overall fluctuating downward trend and obvious seasonality. The cases concentrated in 30‒39 years of age (31.24%), 20‒29 years (28.57%), and under 5 years (16.57%). Majority of them were workers (18.10%), preschool children (16.19%), and unemployed persons (12.76%). The incidence was significantly higher in the central region than in the other two regions for workers, preschool children, and unemployed persons (χ2=54.515, P<0.001). Spatially, the incidence was significantly higher in the north-central sub-districts than in the south (χ2=88.103, P<0.001). Moreover, 33.14% of measles cases did not receive measles-containing vaccine (MCV), while 53.90% of the cases remained unknown. Additionally, uptake rate of MCV in non-local residents was significantly lower than in local residents (χ2=14.422, P<0.001). ConclusionThe measles incidence remains remarkably low in Baoshan District of Shanghai. Young and middle-aged populations in the north-central region are susceptible to measles. It is recommended to further strengthen measles surveillance, maintain high coverage of MCV among school-age children combined with catch-up immunization for at-risk populations, and improve health education.

ABSTRACT

@#This paper reviewed international documents of disability statistics. The results showed that all disability measurements had been adopted International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) terminology and approach. Disability statistics in US tailored to ICF framework and classification. Disability statistics in China had partially adopted ICF approach.

ABSTRACT

This study compares and analyzes the similarities and differences between National Health Strategy in America and Healthy China 2030 from three aspects, namely the strategic goals, the main contents, and the leading health indicators.Considering China's social and economic environment, this paper proposes the following suggestions: 1) to emphasize the relevance, dynamics and continuity of health strategy;2) to focus on key population on the basis of full coverage;3) to identify the focus of each phase of implementation;and 4) to highly think of the establishment of systems, including information system, operational supervision system and evaluation index system, etc. These suggestions are meant to provide inspiration to the introduction and further development of the China's national health strategy.

ABSTRACT

Subcortical ischemic vascular disease (SIVD) is considered to be the most important and common cause of vascular cognitive impairment (VCI). If patients with subcortical ischemic vascular cognitive impairment (SIVCI) and subcortical vascular cognitive impairment (sVCI) can be found early, it is possible that vascular dementia (VaD) can be identified before occurrence and even reverse the process. Recent studies have shown that resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rsfMRI) may provide the objective basis for the diagnosis of SIVCI. This article reviews the application of rsfMRI in the diagnosis of SIVCI.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the effect of Butylphthalide Soft Capsules on cerebral hemodynamics in patients with acute cerebral infarction by 64 slice spiral CT perfusion(CTP) imaging .Methods The patients with acute cerebral hemisphere infarction within 6 h after the onset were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group .Conventional plain CT and CTP were performed in both groups .In addition to the routine treatment the experimental group was orally administrated Butylphthalide Soft Capsules 0 .2 g ,once per 6 h .The CTP examination was performed again after 12 h .Results The CTP exami-nation showed that the cerebral perfusion in experimental group was improved in the ischemic marginal region ,the cerebral blood flow(CBF) and cerebral blood volume(CBV) were increased compared with before treatment ,the mean transit time(MTT) and the time to peak( TTP) were shortened compared with the before treatment .Conclusion Butylphthalide Soft Capsules can significantly improve the CBV of ischemic penumbra region and brain ischemic hypoperfusion .
