ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the efficacy of montmorillonite combined with oxygen in the treatment of neonatal diaper dermatitis, and to provide the basis for clinical treatment. Methods Collected 100 cases of neonatal diaper dermatitis from January 2014 to January 2017 in our hospital. The patients were divided into observation group and control group according to the order of admission. After treatment, the observation group was given montmorillonite combined with oxygen therapy, the control group was given only oxygen treatment, compared the treatment effect of the two groups of patients. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 100%, the total effective rate of control group was 80%, there was significant difference between the two groups in the total effective rate of clinical treatment (P<0.05).The cure time was (116.20 ± 25.79) h in the observation group and (145.72 ± 24.88) h in the control group. The difference of the cure time between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). In the observation group, the erythema was found in 42 children after treatment, and the area of erosion was obviously reduced before treatment, and the surface of the lesion was dry. After treatment for 5 days, 36 cases of mild to moderate diaper dermatitis were cured. After 7 days of treatment, children are cured. In the control group, 19 cases of mild diaper dermatitis were treated with erythema dermatitis . After treatment for 5 days, the area of hips in the 22 cases was smaller than that before treatment, and the lesion was dry. After 7 days, There was no significant improvement in erosion and or exudation. Conclusion Montmorillonite powder combined with oxygen treatment of neonatal diaper dermatitis is a significant effect, is the ideal treatment for neonatal diaper dermatitis.

ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the adsorption capability and kinetics of chitosan (CTS) for Pb(II) in water. Methods The spectrophotometry was used to explore the effects of time, temperature, pH value and ion intensity on the adsorption capability of CTS for lead. Results The adsorption speed was faster at the beginning, then to the balance status 80 minutes later. The adsorption rate increased as the temperature increased. pH value could influence the adsorption, the adsorption capacity reached to the maximum when the pH values were 3.6-4.6. The sodium chloride solution showed an inhibitory effect on the adsorption with a dose dependent manner. Conclusion The adsorption is influenced by the effects of time, temperature, pH value, and ion intensity. The apparent energy(?E) is 5.11 kJ/mol.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the adsorption ability of the chitosan and the chitosan film to Cd2+. Methods Under the given condition, different time and different temperature and different beginning concentration of Cd2+, the adsorption rate and capability of the chitosan and the chitosan film were studied. Results The chitosan (or chitosan film) could adsorb Cd2+ quickly at first, however,an hour later, the adsorption rate declined slowly. Adsorption rate increased as the temperature increases. There was significant connection between the beginning concentration of Cd2+ and the adsorption rate and capability of the chitosan(or chitosan film). The adsorption rate of the chitosan (or chitosan film) even reached above 80% when the beginning concentration of Cd2+ was no more than 20 mg/L, whereas the adsorption rate and capability of the chitosan (or chitosan film) declined slowly when enhanced the beginning concentration of Cd2+. The adsorption rate and capability of the chitosan (or chitosan film) obtained a maximum only when the beginning concentration of Cd2+ was about 10 mg/L. The adsorptive ability of the chitosan film to Cd2+ was stronger than that of chitosan under the same condition. Conclusion The biosorption of the chitosan (or chitosan film) to Cd2+ fits the Langmuir equation and the adsorbability to Cd2+ of the chitosan film is stronger compared with chitosanb.
