Advances in plant stem cell culture / 生物工程学报

Plant stem cells are the cells that are located in meristems and are kept in a state of undifferentiation. Plant stem cell possesses lower vacuolization, higher mitochondrial activity, more genetic stability and stronger self-renewal capacity compared with calli. Plant stem cell culture has a wide application in pharmaceutical, functional food as well as cosmetic industries. Here we describe the procedure of induction, isolation and identification of plant stem cells, to provide a reference for further research in this field.

Analysis of the Drugs for Antiacid and Peptic Ulcer Diseases in 22 Hospitals of Nanjing Area during 2003～2005 / 中国药房

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the application and tendency of the drugs for antiacid and peptic ulcer diseases in Nanjing area.METHODS: In ranking of amount of money of drugs and DDDs,the drugs for antiacid and peptic ulcer diseases in 22 hospitals of Nanjing area during 2003～ 2005 statistically analyzed.RESULTS: During this period,the amount of money of these drugs had progressively increased by 30.8% per year;The DDDs of omeprazole increased remarkedly by 36.8% per year.CONCLUSION: With the morbility of peptic ulcer increasing,the drugs of PPI for peptic ulcer become the first choice in clinical application,the constituent ratio of amount of money of the drugs increased every year.

Analysis of the Situation and Trend of the Drug-consumption for Cardiovascular Diseases in 19 Hospitals in Nanjing District During the Period 1997～2001 / 中国药房

OBJECTIVE:To analyse the current situation and developing trend of consumption of cardiovascular drugs in Nanjing district,so as to provide information for the research,production,sale and application of these drugs METHODS:According to the order of sum of money,the purchasing information of the drugs used for cardiovascular diseases in 19 hospitals in Nanjing district between 1997～2001 were analysed RESULTS:The sum of money of the drugs used for cardiovascular diseases in 19 hopsitals in Nanjing district was increased more than twice in 5 years,and the consumption of anti-anginal and vasodilating agents,antithrombotic agents and antihypertensives occupied first three places in the category all the time In recent three years,calcium antagonists have occupied the front three places in the category CONCLUSION:With the increase of old age people's proportion in our country,the market requirement is enormous and the prospects for exploitation are capacious for the drugs used for cardiovascular diseases
