ABSTRACT

The current status of primary health institutions and personnels in China were analyzed based on the data from China Health and Family Planning Statistics Yearbook 2016 and China Health Statistics Summary 2018. By the end of 2017, there were 253 000 general practitioners in China, accounting for 7.46% of all practicing physicians or assistant physicians in the country(339 000). In 2017, the number of general practice residents was 8 517, accounting for 11.92% of all residents(71 430), which was 1.70% lower than that in 2016(8 664). The registered nurses in primary health care institutions were not sufficient, even the proportion of nursing to medical staff did not reach 1∶1 in primary settings. The distribution of primary health care institutions was not balanced. In the township hospitals and village clinics the number of practicing physicians or assistant physicians was far from meeting the requirement of the service. In view of the current problems, the social resources would be applied to promote the development of primary health care institutions and to improve the primary medical services in multiple ways such as personnel training, hardware construction, network construction and financial support, etc.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effects of action observation therapy based on mirror neuron theory on upper-extremity motor function and performance in activities of daily living(ADL) after stroke.Methods Eightyone stroke patients were randomly assigned to an observational group (41 cases) or a control group (40cases).Both groups received conventional rehabilitation,and the observational group also received action observation therapy for 16 weeks,10 times per week.Upper-extremity motor function and ADL performance were assessed before treatment using the Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA) and the Barthel index (BI) and then again after 4,8 and 16 weeks of treatment.Results The average FMA scores and BI scores in the observational group at the 4th week (32.50 ± 9.32 and 67.41 ± 16.81),the 8th week (36.35 ± 8.32 and 78.74 ± 15.63) and the 16 th week (41.32 ± 13.45 and 93.85 ± 13.45) had increased significantly compared with the pre-treatment assessment and were significantly better than at the same time point for the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Action observation therapy based on mirror neuron theory can promote the recovery of upper-extremity motor function and ADL performance after stroke.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the distribution and antibiotic resistance characteristics of pathogen in mastitis patients and to provide important foundation for clinical rational antibiotic use .Methods The bacterial isolates from 114 mastitis specimens were collected .Identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing were carried out .Results A total of 67 strains were isolated from clinical specimen ,in which Staphylococcus aureus[50 .7% (34/67)] and Staphylococcus epidermidis[44 .8% (30/67)] were themostcommonisolate,also Escherichiacoli[1.49% (1/67)],Klebsiellapneumoniae[1.49% (1/67)]andAcinetobactercalcoace-ticus[1 .49% (1/67)] were isolated .The rates of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) and methicillin-resistance to coagulase-negative Staphylococci(MRCNS) were 8 .8% and 46 .7% ,respectively .The sensitive rates of minocycline ,vancomycin , teicoplanin ,furadantin to MRSA strains were 100 .0% .The sensitive rates of vancomycin ,teicoplanin ,levofloxacin ,furadantin and oxacillin to methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus(MSSA) were 100 .0% .The sensitive rates of minocycline ,rifampin ,furadan-tin ,vancomycin ,teicoplanin and oxacillin to methicillin-sensitive to coagulase-negative Staphylococci(MSCNS) were 100 .0% .The sensitive rates of vancomycin ,teicoplanin ,minocycline and furadantin to MRCNS were 100 .0% .The resistance rates of penicillin to MRSA ,MSSA ,MSCNS ,MRCNS were 100 .0% .Conclusion Staphylococcus is the main pathogen of mastitis patients .Penicillin is not a first selective drug for acute mastitis .

ABSTRACT

Objective:In order to achieve the use of community medical care and branch doctor resources, to provide monitoring of remote diagnosis, providing more convenient, safe and efficient medical service for patients and hospital objective. Methods:Multi parameter remote monitoring system design of special model of WIFI wireless technology, including special new WIFI module, wearable multi parameter telemetry monitor, wireless relay box network and medical monitoring software, testing and data transmission of ECG, respiration, blood oxygen using a wireless network, can the patient monitoring in normal life condition. Results:Whenever and wherever possible the electrophysiological data sent to the hospital, the doctor can according to the electrophysiological data of the patient for remote diagnosis and further treatment. The accuracy of the stability, the reliability of the system and the parameters of the tested strictly, data transmission accurate rate reaches more than 98%. Conclusion: The patients and doctors have been received good feedback, clinical trials, has very practical clinical significance.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND:Schwann cells can secrete various neurotrophic factors,and promote functional recovery of injured spinal cord.However,xenogenic Schwann cells transplantation may induce autoimmune response.Moreover,local transplantation results in secondary injury.Vein transplantation may reached injury site passing the blood spinal cord barrier,but the treatment concentration is not effective.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the therapeutic effects of transplantation of autologous activated Schwann Cells(AASCs)via subarachnoid space on spinal cord injury(SCI)in rats.METHODS:A total of 66 rats were used to establish SCI models,and the model rats were randomly divided into 3 groups.The unilateral saphenous nerves of rats were ligated directly for 1 week to activate Schwann cells,but inactivated and model control groups were not subjected to nerve ligation.1 cm nerve was excised from distal end of each group,and Schwann cells were isolated and cultured by tissue mass method.The AASCs,autologous Schwann cells(ASCs)were injected with corresponding Hoechst33342-labeted SCs suspension,but the model control group was injected with DMEM injection.The basso beattie bresnahan(BBB)score and footprint analysis,as well as HE and GFAP immunohistochemistry staining were performed to evaluate functional recovery of rat hind limbs.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:On 4 weeks after injury,BBB scores of AASCs were significantly superior to the other groups (P<0.05).Two weeks after transplantation,some SCs migrated to injured spinal cord.Compared with ASCs group,the center distance of forward and hind feet and extorsion angle of the third toe of hind limb were significantly reduced in the AASCs group at 5 weeks(P<0.05),the glial scar area was significantly decreased at 13 weeks(P<0.05),and the cavity area of injured region was signiflcentJy diminished(P<0.05).Results show that AASCs transplantation via subarachnoid space promoted functional recovery after SCI in rats.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Emerging studies have focused on cell transplantation. Schwann cells (SCs) can secrete various neurotrophic factors and improve local environment around injury. Plenty of documents have demonstrated that SCs could promote functional recovery following spinal injury. Many transplanting methods are available for treating spinal cord injury, and the intravenous cell transplantation is profitable for easy operation and avoidance of additional trauma. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of intravenous transplantation of SCs on spinal cord injury in rats. METHODS: The bilateral sciatic nerves of Wistar rats were separated in vitro, cultured by tissue clot method, identified by S-100 and labeled by Hoechst33342. Sixty rat models with T10 spinal cord injury were prepared using impactor model- II type weight drop apparatus. Then the injured rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: blank control, DMEM control and SCs transplantation groups. No treatment was performed in the blank control group. Totally 1 mL DMEM and or SCs was injected into rats of DMEM control and SCs transplantation groups by tail vein respectively. Basso Beattie Bresnahan (B6B) scores were performed at 1 day before and 1, 3 days, 1 week and weekly after operation. The migration of transplanted SCs was observed at 2 weeks and 4 after transplantation. The expressions of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and neuron specific enolase (NSE) were detected by haematoxylin-eosin staining and immune-fluorescence staining.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The purity of SCs reached 95%. Hoechst33342 positive cells were observed throughout the injured and the nearby region of spinal cord at 1, 2, and 4 weeks after transplantation. The statistical difference of BBB score among the SCs transplantation, blank control, and the DMEM control groups displayed at 4 weeks after transplantation (P < 0.05), and the BBB scores of the SCs transplantation were higher than other groups. Haematoxylin-eosin staining showed the cavity formed in each group at 8 weeks after transplantation, but the area of SCs transplantation was smaller than that of the blank control and DMEM control groups. The immunofluorescence staining indicated that the expression of GFAP were more intense in the blank control group and DMEM control than SCs transplantation (P < 0.05), while the expression of NSE was more intense in SCs transplantation than other groups (P< 0.05). It implied that intravenous transplantation of SCs promotes regeneration of axon and improves neurological functions after spinal cord injury in rats.

ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the effect of self-clotting cutter radiofrequency ablation in curing the hysteromyoma. Methods 96 patients with hysteromyoma were selected. Their hysteromyomas were cured by self-clotting cutter radiofrequency ablation through virgina under the direction of B-ultrasound. Then they were followed up for one month, three months and six months after the operation. Results Six months after the treatment,42.71% of the patients were eumenorrhea,44.79% of the patients' menstrual bleeding volumes were few, 12.5% has no change. The cure rate of anaemia was 100%. 1 month,3 months ,6 months after the treatment, the bulks of uterus and myoma were reduced,and the myoma reduced most after six months. 35.42% of the patients were cured,47.92% had remarkable effect, 15.6% had effect, 1.04% had no effect. Total effective rate was 98.72%. Conclusion The clinical effect of self-clotting cutter radiofrequency ablation in curing the hysteromyoma was satisfactory. It was a minimally invasive technique which could keep the integrality of uterus and it was rapid recovery,effective and safe,and easy to operate.

ABSTRACT

In the present study, electron microscopic and cytochemical localization of succinic dehydrogenase (SDH) of the tumor-like growth tissue in the Tiger-head goldfish (Carassius aurtus) were attempted. The SDH was demonstrated according to the modified method described by Kerpel-Fronius and Hajos (1968). The main results are as follows:When the goldfish were twenty-months old, there was not only a highly active positive reaction of SDH on the periphery of jejune vesicle, but also on the mitochondria, cristae and cytoplasm membrane in the cells of the hyperplasitic tissue. At the same time, there were much crystal formation because cell disintegration. When the Tiger-head goldfish were ten and thirty-months old, the active reaction of SDH was not so strong as in the corresponding positions of cytodeme as When it was twenty-months old. The crystal formation were lesser than the others. But the control groups displayed the negative reaction of SDH in the corresponding positions.
