ABSTRACT

Se presenta el caso de un paciente masculino con síntomas abdominales de corta evolución que ingresa con un síndrome coronario agudo con elevación del ST y cuadro sugestivo de pericarditis, el cual fallece pocas horas después de su ingreso. Se documentó en la autopsia una miocarditis linfocítica secundaria a infección por Tripanosoma.


The case of a male patient with a short evolution of abdominal symptoms, an acute coronary syndrome with ST elevation and a clinical suspicion of pericarditis, who dies shortly after his admission to the emergency room. The autopsy findings presented a linfocitic myocarditis secondary to Tripanosoma infection.
