ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:To observe the analgesic efficacy and adverse reactions of fentanyl transdermal in the treatment of advanced carcinoma pain.METHODS:43patients suffering from advanced carcinoma pain were administered with fentanyl transdermal system every3days with the dosage regulated accordingly until the patients feel painless or almost painless in24h.RESULTS:The general remission rate was90.7%for fentanyl transdermal in the treatment of moderate and severe cancer pain.Its main manifestations of adverse reactions were dizziness,drowsiness,nausea,vomiting and constipation,which have low incidence rates and degree of which were also low.CONCLUSION:Fentanyl transdermal system has durable and stable analgesic effect with its distinct way of transdermal slow-release,which is simple in operation and minor in adverse reactions;and it can be used as the substitutes for oral hadro-opioid.

【Objective】 To assess the effects of traditional Chine se medicine composited Xinmaitong (XMT) capsule on treating ischemia cardiac dis ease. 【Methods】 Sixty coronary heart disease patients with myocardial ischemia were divided randomly into two groups. XMT group (30 cases) was treated with XM T and western medicine, and control group (30 cases) with western medicine. The changes of the scores of clinical symptoms, the total ischemia burden (TIB), the plasma endothelin (ET), the nitric oxide (NO), the super oxide dismutase (SOD), and the malonyldialdehyde (MDA) levels were observed before and after treatment . 【Results】 After treatment with XMT, the scores of clinical symptoms, TIB, ET and MDA levels were significantly decreased (P<0.01), the levels of NO and SOD were significantly increased (P<0.01) in XMT group. Comparing with contr ol group, these changes were statistically different (P<0.01). 【Conclusions 】 XMT capsule can act against myocardial ischemia effectively, one of the mecha nisms of which is protecting the function of vascular endothelium and resisting lipid peroxidation injury. The effect of adding XMT capsule on conventional trea tment with western medicine was better than that with western medicine only.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the situation of antiarrhythmic drugs used in40hospitals of Guangdong Province.METHODS:To investigate antiarrhythmic drugs used during the past three years in aspect to the sum of money of consumption,DDDs and daily cost.RESULTS:The increasing rate of consumption sum of antiarrhythmic drugs during the pe?riod2000～2002has been lowered year by year,while the share of market of domestic drugs showed an increasing tendency,the imported drugs decreased year by year,the drugs produced by joint ventures kept steady.Metoprolol and potassium magnesium aspartate were much more frequently used than others.Metoprolol occupied the first place in the list of sum of mon?ey.CONCLUSION:The marketing of antiarrhythmic drugs will further expand in China and the pharmaceutical factories should strengthen the development of new antiarrhythmic drugs.
