ABSTRACT
Se realizó un estudio a una paciente de 42 años de edad, civil, de la raza negra, que acudió a la Consulta Externa de Dermatología por presentar un cuadro dermatológico de 20 años de evolución, caracterizado por lesiones papulosas, vegetantes, verrugosas, localizadas en palmas de las manos. Se confeccionó árbol genealógico y se realizó biopsia de piel, que corroboró el diagnóstico clínico. Se considera que la presentación de este caso tiene la importancia de ser una entidad de origen genético muy infrecuente en este medio y rebelde al tratamiento empleado.
A 42-year-old black civilian patient that was seen at the outpatient department of dermatology for presenting a dermatological picture of 20 years of evolution, characterized by papular, vegetative and verrucous lesions located in the palms of the hands, was studied. A genealogical tree was made and a skin biopsy was performed that corroborated the clinical diagnosis. It is considered that the report of this case is important for being an entity of genetic origin that is very infrequent in this setting and that is rebel to the used treatment.
