ABSTRACT

The purpose of the present study is to show the methodological and statistical steps that biomedical researcher's mistake in order to avoid a misleading interpretation of common statistic indicators that are necessary to establish facts, and consequently, avoid mistaken theoretical conclusions based on empirically wrong misconstruction of facts when comparing two independent populations. The possible causes of this type or estimation are emphasized, and the adequate steps to be taken to avoid such causes are proposed.
