ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the effect of continuous nursing on the psychology and quality of life of patients with mild traumatic brain injury. Methods:A review of 120 patients with mild traumatic brain injury who were hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from January 2016 to December 2019 were selected. According to the order of admission, sample numbers were drawn from the random number list and entered into groups. There were 60 cases in the control group and the intervention group. The control group received routine general nursing, and the intervention group received continuous nursing. The Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), and Quality of Life Scale (SF-36) were used to evaluate the psychology and quality of life of patients on the day of discharge and one week, one month, and three months after discharge. Results:There was no significant difference in the scores of HAMA, HAMD and SF-36 between the two groups on the day of discharge ( P>0.05). The HAMA scores at 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after the intervention of the intervention group were (18.2±8.6), (13.7±5.8) and (5.6±2.3), which were significantly lower than those of the control group (24.2±11.2), (20.4±8.2), (8.9±3.6), the differences were statistically significant ( t values were 2.32, 3.67, 4.13, P<0.05). The HAMD scores at 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after the intervention of the intervention group were (24.3±7.1), (10.9±4.2), (6.8±2.9), which were significantly lower than those of the control group (28.6±8.5), (15.3±8.3), (14.8±4.6), the differences were statistically significant ( t values were 2.11, 2.57, 7.99, P<0.05). The SF-36 scores at 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after the intervention of the intervention group were (77.2±8.9), (85.2±9.7), (87.8±12.9), which were significantly higher than those of the control group (72.3±8.2), (79.4±10.9), (81.0±11.5), the differences were statistically significant ( t values were -2.23, -2.14, -2.13, P<0.05). Conclusions:Continuing care can be extended to the patient's family, so that the health problems faced by the patient after discharge from the hospital can be effectively solved, relieve psychological pressure and improve the quality of life, and it is worthy of clinical application.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the different oral compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder on the effect of bowel preparation before colonoscopy. Methods A total of 602 inpatients or outpatients were selected from department of gastroenterology, and they were randomly divided into tranditional group(n =288)and improvement group(n =314).All patients took a dose of two box of compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder 4 hours before colonoscopy.Endoscopic doctor investigated the antibiotic tolerance, adverse reactions, heart rate, blood pressure, blood electrolytes and blood glucose during treatment in form of questionnaire with single blind Bosdon bowel preparation scale (BBPS)score. Results The BBPS scores of the tranditional group and improvement group were (7.03 ± 1.24)points,(7.82 ±1.12)points,the score of the improvement group was significantly higher than the traditional group(t =2.259,P 0.05 ],althought the improvement group was shorter than the tranditional group. Conclusion The modified way of oral compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder not only can improve the qulity of intestinal cleaning, but also acts as a more effective method in preparation of colonoscopy due to its high tolerance, good comfort, less pain and high acceptance of patients. Therefore,it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the clinical effect of sodium hyaluronic acid on prevention of post-surgical pelvic and abdominal adhesion in gynecology. Methods 336 patients with pelvic and abdominal operation, using the double blind method for the patients and doctors, were randomly divided into the observation group (172 cases)and control group(164 cases). The experimental group was given hyaluronic acid in corresponding regions of the peritoneum, and the control group was not given any tissue adhesion prevention measures.Postoperative adhesions incidence and the change of serum CRP level of two groups were recorded. Results There was significant difference between the two groups in postoperative adhesions incidence (47.5% vs 19.8%,x2 =13.10,P < 0.01).The CRP level of the observation group changed significantly as compared with the control group after operation [(24.5 ±3.4)mg/L vs(12.7 ±3.9)mg/L(t =20.86,P<0.01)].Conclusion Hyaluronic acid in prevention of postoperative adhesion of pelvic and abdominal operation is effective on improving the serum level of inflammatory factors.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of three-step technology for screening of cervical lesions .Methods From March 2011 to March 2013 , 6965 outpatients and inpatients were detected with the ThinPrep liquid based cytology test ( TCT) in our hospital , at the same time, cytology positive cases were evaluated with colposcopic multiple biopsies and histopathology .Results Three hundred and thirty -four cases were positive in cytology, in which there were 187 cases of ASCUS(55.99%),40 cases of ASC-H(11.98%),48 cases of LSIL(14.37%),52 cases of HSIL(15.57%) and 7 cases of SCC(2.10%).Among the 286 cases with cy-tological abnormalities diagnosed with histopathology , 97 cases with CINI(33.92%),85 cases with CINII/CINIII(29.72%)2,0 cases with SCC(6.99%),and the positive coincidence rate of colposcopy was 98.06%.Histopathology proved to 57 CINI, 127 CINII/CINI-II and 22 SCC, so the total positive rate of cervical lesions was 2.96%.Conclusions Three-step technique in combination application of cytology , colposcopic biopsy and histopathology can be an effective screening of cervical lesions .
