ABSTRACT
O estudo objetivou refletir sobre o cuidado em saúde mental na rede de cuidados primários em saúde, tendo por base o trabalho de apoio matricial na Estratégia de Saúde da Família (ESF). A ESF é um espaço privilegiado de intervenção em saúde mental, desempenhando um papel importante na assistência aos portadores de transtorno mental. O Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF) é uma forma de matriciamento que objetiva ampliar a abrangência e as ações da ESF, não apenas no campo da saúde mental. Precarização do trabalho em saúde, formação acadêmica insuficiente e ausência de educação permanente em saúde são elementos que dificultam a assistência em saúde mental na ESF.
This study aimed to reflect on mental health care in the primary health care network, based on the matricial supporting work of the Family Health Strategy (FHS). The FHS is a special area for mental health intervention, playing an important role in assisting individuals with mental disorders. The Family Health Support Center (NASF) is a form of matrixing that aims to expand the scope and actions of the FHS, not only in the mental health . The precarious situation in the health workplace, insufficient academic training, and lack of continuing education in health are factors that hinder mental health care in the FHS.
