ABSTRACT
Primary child care means bringing simple but appropriate health services to the mass of children who are at the moment unreached. The mother is the major provider of health care to her child and she needs to know how to use a simple solution of salt and sugar to prevent dehydration in her child with diarrhea. She also needs to know how to add oils and fats to her child's diet and how to feed these inadequate quantities from the fourth or fifth month of life
