ABSTRACT

To explore the influence of glucose level of 75 g oral glucose tolerance test ( OGTT ) druing pregnancy on delivery of large for gestational age infants. This research selected 790 cases of patients diagnosed as gestational diabetes mellitus( GDM) , 478 cases of pregnant women diagnosed as normal glucose tolerance( NGT) from Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University in 2014 and followed up until they delivered. Single live births were selected, risk factors which had influence on offsprings, birth weight were analysed. GDM group had significantly higher rate of delivering large for gestational age(LGA)infants than that of NGT group(47. 30% vs 31. 30%, P<0. 05). Adjusting for confounding factors, it suggested that 2 h plasma glucose level of 75 g OGTT was an independent risk factor for the delivery of LGA infants, and 1 mmol/L glucose increment in 75 g OGTT 2 h plasma glucose level, mayincreasetheriskofLGAby29%(OR=1.29,95%CI1.05-1.58,P=0.02). The2hplasmaglucoselevelof75 g OGTT is an independent risk factor for delivery of LGA infants.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the effect of Sopfrology childbirth method training,Kegel training and Lamaze respiratory training (SLK training) on depression and sexual life of perinatal pregnant woman..Methods The women in 24 weeks of pregnancy who came to the clinic to receive the pregancy test were divided into study group(n=232) and control group(n=126) according whether they voluntered to participate the study. All the women in two group were subjected to regular prenatal care and the women in study group received SLK training additionally. The depression, pelvic floor muscle tension and female sexual function index were evaluated by Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS),the Pelvic Floor Muscle Examination Grading Standards and the Female Sexual Function Inventory (FSFI) respectively. Results 6 months after delivery, the incidence of depression,SDS score, pelvic floor muscle tension score and live index standard rate in study group and the control group respectivelywere(10.3% vs 18.3%),((43.6±5.1) vs(45.3±6.3)),((3.36±0.33) vs(2.46±0 89)),(81.5% vs 65.9%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion SLK training program for perinatal women has the effects of preventing, treating prenatal depression and postpartum depression, improves pregnancy index and the quality of sexual life, worthy of further study.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the risk factors for falls in patients with dementia. Methods Totally 118 patients diagnosed with dementia were divided into fails group and no fails group. The scores of mini-mental state examination (MMSE), clinical dementia rating (CDR) , activity of daily living scale (ADL), neuropsychiatric inventory (NPI) and unified Parkinson's disease rating scale (UPDRS) were compared between the two groups. The relationship between falls and their risk factors were analyzed by logistic regression model. Results The NPI and UPDRS scores were higher in falls group than in no falls group(t=2. 237,2. 213; both P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that dyskinesia and behavior disorders were significantly associated with an increased risk of falls (β=0.77 and 0.86, both P<0.05). Conclusions Dyskinesia and behavior disorders may be related to fails in patients with dementia and intervention measures of these risk factors are very essential.
