ABSTRACT

Objective@#The study aims to explore the neural mechanism of cognitive differences in college students with posttraumatic stress disorder under verbal fluency task based on functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), so as to provide neuroimaging support for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD).@*Methods@#Posttaumatic Stress Disorder Checklist Combat(PCL-C) was used to screen the subjects, including 21 students in PTSD group (PCL-C≥38) and 30 students in control group from September to Novenber in 2020. A 53 channel near infrared spectroscopy device was used to collect cerebral blood oxygen signals under the verbal fluency task, and correlation analysis, Mann Whitney U test and independent sample t test were performed on the results.@*Results@#The difference in the total average score of PCL-C Scale between PTSD group and the control group(46.38±6.96,25.57±6.09) was statistically significant ( t=11.33, P <0.05). Correlation analysis showed that Avg-HbO in left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe was negatively correlated with PCL-C Score ( r=-0.37, P <0.05). Mann Whitney U test showed that in the left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe (Ch6), the Avg-HbO change in PTSD group [0.19(-0.09, 0.86)mmol/(L〖KG*7〗·mm)] was significantly lower than the control group [0.79( 0.37 , 1.47)mmol/(L ·mm)] ( Z=2.16, P <0.05), which was statistically significant.@*Conclusions@#The degree of PTSD was negatively correlated with the index of oxygenated hemoglobin in the left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe, and the oxygenated hemoglobin content in the PTSD group was lower than that in the normal group. In the future, fNIRS may be used to collect blood oxygen signals from the left dorsolateral prefrontal lobe in cognitive tasks to provide imaging evidence for the identification of PTSD.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To evaluate diagnostic value of three noninvasive examinations for coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods:A total of 500 subjects, who were suspected of CHD, first received diagnostic coronary angiography (CAG) and hospitalized in our department from May 2014 to May 2015, were selected.According to CAG results, they were divided into non-CHD control group (n=106), single vessel coronary disease group (n=199), double-vessel coronary disease group (n=95) and multi-vessel coronary disease group (n=100, ≥three vessel disease).Besides CAG, all subjects accomplished one of following examinations at least: (1) 24h dynamic ECG (Holter);(2) real-time three-dimensional echocardiography(RT-3DE);(3) radionuclide myocardial perfusion imaging (RMPI).Sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of these three examinations in diagnosing CHD were evaluated. Results: With CAG as the gold standard, compared with Holter and RT-3DE, there were significant rise in sensitivity(68.4%, 69.0% vs.92.9%), specificity (62.9%, 81.4% vs.88.5%) and accuracy (67.1%, 71.2% vs.91.9%) of RMPI (P<0.01 all), only specificity of RT-3DE was significantly higher than that of Holter, P=0.019.Conclusion:Noninvasive examination can be used as important method diagnosing CHD, which are important measures for noninvasive diagnosing and assessing CHD.Accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of RMPI are high, which is worth extending.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the relations among screen-based sedentary behaviors ( SSB) , family factors and body mass index ( BMI) of children, and to study how family factors have effect on BMI through influencing SSB. Methods:A total of 1 846 students aged 7-11 years from 12 primary schools in one district of Beijing were included. Their body weight and height were measured to calculate the BMI. The time of SSB and family factors were investigated by using questionnaires. The time of SSB was the total time of watching TV and videos, playing computer games and iPad each day during the past 7 days recalled by children. The family factors included the parents’ education, occupation, the parents’ time of SSB, whether the parents told their child the harm of SSB, the parents’ time limit for the children’ s SSB. The parents’ education and occupation were used for calculating the family socioeconomic score. Results:The median time of SSB for children was 1 hour/day, and the interquartile range was 1 hour/day. The BMI of the children with the parents’ time limit for the children’ s SSB less than 120 min/day were smaller than the children with the parents’ time limit not less than 120 min/day, in both the boys (1. 63 kg/m2,P<0. 001) and the girls (0. 85 kg/m2, P=0. 004). The family socioeconomic score, the parents’ SSB time, whether the parents told their children the harm of SSB were not related to the children’ s BMI . The mediation effects of SSB time for children on the association between the parents’ time limit for the children’s SSB and BMI were-0. 222 kg/m2(95%CI:-0. 432, -0. 095) for boys and-0. 187 kg/m2 (95%CI: -0. 507, -0. 049) for girls , which accounted for 13. 67% of the total effects for boys and 22. 11% for girls. Conclusion:The parents’ time limit for the children’ s SSB has effect on their BMI through influencing their SSB time. Parents’ supervision on the behaviors of children produces larger benefit for BMI than health education conveyed by parents. Therefore, parents’ participation in su-pervising the behaviors of children are indispensable for preventing and controlling childhood obesity.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the right ventricular function of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) after pulmonary thromboendarterectomy (PTE) by Doppler echocardiography. Methods In 16 patients with CTEPH,end-diastolic left ventricular diameter(LVDd), end-diastolic right ventricular areas (RVEDA), end-systolic right ventricular areas (RVESA), right ventricular fractional area change (RVFAC), pulmonary accelerative time (Pact), pressure gradient of tricuspid valve regurgitation (PGT1), area of tricuspid valve regurgitation (AT1) were measured by echocardiography. Results Fifteen and thirty days after surgery, the LVDd and Pact had increased,RVEDA, RVESA,PGT1 and AT1 had decreased while RVFAC had increased in all cases. Conclusions PTE may effectively improve the right ventricular function of patients with CTEPH.

ABSTRACT

To verify the role of introvascular ultrasound(IVUS) in diagnosis of atherosclerosis. MethodsINUS wasused to measure the position, quality and the thickness of the plaque in the elastic artery and biopsy materials. After using HE andHart stains, a micrometer was used to measuse the thickness of plaques and arterious walls. And electron microscopy was used to ob serve the pathological changs of the plaque. ResultsBy histological observation compared with IVUS, the conformable rate of plaque anmounted to 94%. The plaque could be seen in 12 sites of control group. Among 33 sites, 32 plaques were found pathologic exmination while IVUS showed 30 plaques in the experimental group. The two methods had a gcod correlation on the thick measurement of plaque and the media( r = 0.835, P<0.05 and r = 0.814, P< 0.05). But they had a poor correlation on the measurement of the intirna( r = 0.055). ConclusionsBy pathological examination and the quantitative analysis, IVUS can obtain the common purpose in diagnosing atherosclerosis and measuring the media thickness. But it can not be used in measurement of the intima.
