ABSTRACT
A Odontologia vem se preocupando, cada vez mais, com a estética dental procurando devolver aos pacientes um sorriso harmonioso e saudável, sinônimo de beleza e saúde. Por isso, a união do conhecimento das diversas especialidades odontológicas, organizadas de forma sistemática, resultará numa abordagem única, do diagnóstico ao plano de tratamento, enfatizando a perspectiva estética, mas sempre acompanhada dos aspectos estruturais, funcionais e biológicos do paciente. Fatores hereditários, congênitos ou adquiridos podem ocasionar alterações dentárias que, depois de tratadas pela Ortodontia, ainda não alcançam os resultados estéticos esperados. Algumas dessas limitações podem ser complementadas pela Dentística, que, através das resinas compostas diretas, possibilitam as reanatomizações dentárias. Portanto, este estudo de revisão de literatura e relato de caso clínico abordará os requisitos estéticos e funcionais necessários para a execução das restaurações dos dentes anteriores de um paciente em fase de finalização do seu tratamento ortodôntico, objetivando a otimização dos resultados, estabilidade, saúde e a melhor resposta aos anseios do paciente
The reestablishment of a harmonic smile, in adult patient, is a challenge for the Restorative Dentistry, considering the addition of accumulated favorable factors throughout the life, in remaining teeth. The union of knowledge of the diverse dentistry specialties that, organized on a systematic form result in an only boarding, of the diagnosis to the treatment plan, emphasizing the aesthetic perspective, but always followed by structural, functional and biological aspects is necessary from the patient. This study had as objective to congregate the conception of diverse authors as for the requirements esthetic-functionaries necessary for the execution of the restorations in direct composed resins and the story of the clinical case of an adult patient, with facets of attrition caused for the bruxism, in the final phase of its orthodontic treatment. It was concluded that the restorations in direct composed resins, in engaged teeth structurally for the bruxism, allowed the improve of the results between the specialties, giving back aesthetic and function, stability after-orthodontics, periodontal health and satisfactory reply to the expectative of the patient
