ABSTRACT
Em resposta à avidez por tratamentos estéticos nos consultórios odontológicos, os cirurgiões-dentistas têm tido que se aperfeiçoar para produzir os sorrisos almejados. O domínio de utilizaçãode técnicas restauradoras e não restauradoras, como também o conhecimento dos materiais estéticos,é fundamental para o sucesso dos tratamentos cosméticos. Existem, porém, outras ferramentas que permitem a potencialização dos resultados dos tratamentos como, por exemplo, a análise do sorriso. O presente artigo tem como objetivo a apresentação de um caso clínico em que foi realizada análisedo sorriso, através da utilização de fotografias, visando a aprimorar os resultados dos procedimentos restauradores e não restauradores.
In reply to the eagerness for aesthetic treatments in dental offices, the surgeon-dentist have had to improve themselves to produce the desired smiles. The mastery in the use of restoring and nonrestoring techniques as well as knowledge of the aesthetic materials in basic for the success of the cosmetic treatments. There are, however, other tolls which allow the potentiality of the treatment results such as, the analysis of the smile, through the use of photographs to perfect the results ofboth restoring and non restoring proceedings.
