ABSTRACT
Out of one hundred and seventy four [174] urine samples received from suspected urinary tract infections sixty six[66] were found to be positive. Pathogens included Klebsiella Spp. [17], Staph. Aureus [10], Proteus Spp. [13], Coagulase staphylococci [9]. E. coli [9], Pseudomonas aerogenes [1] and Candida [1]. Klebsiella spp. Were resistant to Ampicillin while sensitive to Minocin and Nalidixic Acid. Others showed variable antibiotic sensitivity
