ABSTRACT
Parasitological examination of soil samples collected from four different localities [inside and outside houses] in Talkha district, Dakahlia governorate revealed that eggs of Ascaria and Toxocara were the most predominant. Also, larvae of Ancylostoma, Strongyloides and Triehostrongylus, as well as cysts of E. histolytica and Giardia were detected. The prevalence and intensity of infection for all parasites were maximum during spring than other seasons and also in outdoors especially fields than indoors. The epidemiological role of these soil parasitic stages was discussed
