ABSTRACT
1. The school health program organization in Alexandria was analyzed structurally, functionally and communicatively. 2. The present line and staff organization would help to implement the school health policy formed at ministerial level after adapting the health strategy to suit the local condition. 3. Channels of communication within the hierarchy are relatively long, giving less flexibility to the system, to overcome this drawback delegation of authority is experienced. 4. The role of limited community participation in limiting the effectiveness of the services in rural areas had been shown and it should be put in consideration in any re-planning for further development of school health program
