ABSTRACT
Objetivo: relatar um caso clínico sobre de acalvaria. Método: revisão de prontuário e interpretação deexames de imagem e consulta à literatura por meio de livros, periódicos e bases de dados Lilacs. Relato decaso: criança de um ano, do gênero masculino, nascido de parto normal, a termo, cuja mãe ingeriu bebidaalcoólica até o 2º mês de gestação e utilizou, no mesmo período, Misoprostol (Cytotec®), tendo, ainda,recebido o diagnóstico de sífilis congênita na internação. Realizada tomografia computadorizada (TC) decrânio que evidenciou ausência parcial dos ossos que compõem a calota craniana, notando-se, ainda, imagemalongada hipodensa em região occipital esquerda e focos hemorrágicos em lobo occipital direito. O pacientefoi avaliado no ambulatório por neuropediatra e geneticista, diagnosticando-se atraso no desenvolvimentoneuropsicomotor, porém, foram afastadas alterações genéticas. Considerações finais: apesar de não descritaa associação entre acalvaria e uso de Misoprostol na gestação, é reconhecida a relação entre esta substância eo risco de malformação fetal, podendo o presente caso estar relacionado ao uso da medicação.
Objective: report a clinical case of acavalria. Report of case: one year old child, male, born by normalconfinement, at term, whose mother drank alcohol until the 2nd month of pregnancy and used in the sameperiod, Misoprostol (Cytotec ®), also the child was diagnosed with congenital syphilis in the hospital. Acomputed tomography (CT) of cranium showed partial absence of the bones that compose the skullcap,noting also elongated hypodense image in the left occipital region and hemorrhagic focus in theright occipital lobe. The patient was evaluated by neurologist and geneticist and he was diagnosed with adelay of neuropsychomotor development, but genetic alterations were discarded. Final considerations:although it is not the association between Acavalria and using of Misoprostol during pregnancy, it isrecognized the relationship between this substance and the risk of fetal malformation. This case may berelated to the medication used.
