ABSTRACT
O texto ora apresentado enfoca a reflexão acerca dos rebatimentos da desigualdade racial nos espaços do sistema educacional, que se configuram fundamentais, tanto para a reprodução, quanto para o enfrentamento da condição desigual. Dessa forma, considera-se o potencial da escola para o processo de construção da igualdade racial e o compromisso ético do Serviço Social na construção de outra ordem societária, buscando-se discutir as contribuições da inserção do assistente social na política pública de educação.
The text presented here focuses on the reflection on the repercussions of racial inequality in the spaces of the educational system that are configured crucial both for reproduction and for coping with the uneven condition. Thus it is considered the potential for the school construction process of racial equality and ethical commitment of social work in building a other social order, seeking to argue the role of the social worker integration in public education policy.

O presente artigo tem como objetivo contribuir com a discussão acerca do trabalho profissional do assistente social na contemporaneidade. Considerando as configurações atuais da sociedade, o assistente social encontra-se inserido em diversos campos de trabalho, sendo a execução de medidas socioeducativas um desses campos. Dessa forma, a reflexão que aqui se apresenta vai abordar e discutir algumas informações sobre esta realidade, enfocando o trabalho do assistente social na medida de internação.
This present article has an objective to contribute to the discussion about the Professional work of the Social Worker in the contemporary. Considering the present configuration of the society, the social worker has being inserted in various camps of work, and the implementation of socio-educational measures these camps. So, the reflection presented here will approach and discuss some information about reality, focusing on the work of social workers in the socio-educational measure of confinement regime.
