ABSTRACT

The aim of our work was to revise Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas mentioned in the Anatomic Pathology Division files of the Policlínica Bancaria "9 de Julio" and regroup them according to the Rye and Kiel classification, respectively. At the same time the different histologic types were correlated according to sex, age, bone marrow infiltration and survival rates. Our statistics were later collated with the Lymph Node Registry in Kiel and we discussed the impossibility to compare Lennert with the Rappaport classification, due to the different concepts on which this latter proposal is based on
