ABSTRACT

O escopo deste artigo foi avaliar o efeito da superf¡cie do implante de titƒnio a respeito do estado de matura‡Æo das c‚lulas osteogˆnicas e o papel desempenhado nas respostas da ativa‡Æo dos macr¢fagos. As superf¡cies dos implantes tˆm uma importƒncia extrema, uma vez que ‚ nessa zona onde ocorrem as rea‡ães biol¢gicas que induzem a osseointegra‡Æo. As c‚lulas interagem com a superf¡cie de um material por meio de uma camada adsorvida de prote¡nas, a‡£cares e lip¡deos presentes no sangue e fluido de tecidos. Os macr¢fagos sÆo fag¢citos espec¡ficos que migram para locais das feridas, como componente de uma tarefa de remo‡Æo de tecido necrosado, restos de c‚lulas, bact‚rias e outras part¡culas. A secre‡Æo de uma glicoprote¡na pelos macr¢fagos parece ser um tanto generalizada como caracter¡stica da resposta inflamat¢ria


In this study we assessed whether osteogenic cells respond in a differential manner to changes in surface roughness depending on their maturation state and its role in the activation of macrophage responses. The surfaces of the implants are of extreme importance, since that is the area where biological reactions that induce osseointegration occur. Cells interact with the surface of a material by a layer of adsorbed proteins, sugars and lipids in the blood and tissue fluid. Macrophages are specific phagocytes that migrate to wound sites, with the task of removing necrosis tissue, cell debris, bacteria and other particles component. The secretion of a glycoprotein, macrophages seems to be somewhat generalized as a characteristic of the response to inflammatory response
