Comparison between trephine, punch and no 15 bard parker knife subscleral trabeculectomies

Under a traingular scleral flap, 66 trabeculectomies were done using; Trephine, punch and No 15 Bard-Parker knife. Each technique was used for 22 eyes. Trepanotrabeculectomy proved to be quite safe and satisfactory, all that was needed was a sharp trephine, and some experience as regards its use.
