ABSTRACT

The prevalence of antibodies to hepatitis B core antigen in 552 prime blood donors was of 9.4 percent. The majority (71.2 percent) has antibodies to hepatitis B surface antigen. The hepatitis B surface antigen was present in 0.7 percent, all of them antibodies to hepatitis B core antigen positive
