Calidad de la atención de salud brindada en un servicio de rehabilitación integral de base comunitaria / Health care quality given in a comprehensive rehabilitation service with community base

Se realizó una investigación en sistemas y servicios de salud para evaluar la calidad de la atención brindada en el Servicio de Rehabilitación Integral de base comunitaria, perteneciente al Policlínico Docente "Armando García Aspurú" del municipio de Santiago de Cuba, durante el 2013. La muestra estuvo constituida por 15 profesionales y 180 pacientes, a los cuales se les aplicaron encuestas que fueron validadas a través del coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. Se analizó la dimensión proceso teniendo en cuenta 15 criterios, indicadores y estándares. Al finalizar la evaluación, 12 de estos criterios se consideraron adecuados (80,0 %); por tanto, se cumplió con el estándar establecido. Se concluyó que la atención ofrecida en el servicio antes citado fue adecuada.

An investigation in health systems and services to evaluate the health care quality given in the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Service with community base, belonging to "Armando García Aspurú" Teaching Polyclinic in Santiago de Cuba, was carried out during 2013. The sample had 15 professionals and 180 patients, in whom surveys that were validated through alpha Cronbach coefficient were applied. The process dimension was analyzed taking into account 15 approaches, indicators and standards. When concluding the evaluation, 12 of these approaches were considered appropriate (80.0%); therefore, established standard was fulfilled. It was concluded that the health care aboved mentioned was optimal.

Satisfacción de los usuarios y prestadores de un servicio de rehabilitación integral / Users and service workers' satisfaction from a service of comprehensive rehabilitation

Se realizó una investigación en sistemas y servicios de salud para evaluar el grado de satisfacción de 350 usuarios y 12 prestadores en el Servicio de Rehabilitación Integral de base comunitaria, perteneciente al Policlínico Docente "Armando García Aspurú" de Santiago de Cuba durante diciembre del 2011, para lo cual se confeccionaron 25 criterios, indicadores y estándares y se aplicaron encuestas, validadas mediante el coeficiente Alpha de Cronbach. Al finalizar la evaluación, entre los criterios que se tuvieron en cuenta para valorar la satisfacción de los usuarios y prestadores resultaron adecuados 8 de los primeros y 10 de los segundos (72,7 y 71,4 %, respectivamente), de manera que se cumplió con el estándar establecido. Se concluyó que tanto los usuarios como los prestadores del servicio están satisfechos con la atención que allí se brinda.

An investigation in health systems and services was carried out to evaluate the satisfaction degree of 350 users and 12 service workers in the Community Service of Comprehensive Rehabilitation with community base, belonging to "Armando García Aspurú" Teaching Polyclinic in Santiago de Cuba during December, 2011, for which 25 approaches, indicators and standards were established and surveys were applied, validated by means of the coefficient Alpha of Cronbach. When concluding the evaluation, among the criteria that were kept in mind to evaluate the satisfaction of the users and service workers, 8 of the first ones and 10 of the second ones (72.7 and 71.4%, respectively) were appropriate, so that the established standard was fulfilled. It was concluded that both, users and service workers are satisfied with the care received there.

Eficacia de la peloidoterapia y cinesioterapia en la capsulitis adhesiva primaria del hombro / Effectiveness of the peloidotherapy and cinesiotherapy in the primary adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder

Se realizó un ensayo clinicoterapéutico controlado para evaluar la eficacia de la peloidoterapia y cinesioterapia en 64 pacientes con capsulitis adhesiva primaria del hombro, atendidos en el Departamento de Fisioterapia y Rehabilitación del Hospital General Docente Dr Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso de Santiago de Cuba desde enero del 2006 hasta igual mes del 2007. Se conformaron 2 grupos (de estudio y control) de 32 integrantes en cada caso: los primeros recibieron peloidoterapia y cinesioterapia; los segundos: electroterapia y cinesioterapia. A las 10 sesiones terapéuticas había mejorado un mayor número de pacientes del grupo de estudio, mientras que los del grupo control necesitaron más de 20 sesiones para lograrlo. A los 3 meses continuaba la mejoría en 90,6 por ciento de los pacientes del primer grupo, por lo cual se planteó que la combinación de peloidoterapia y cinesioterapia fue más eficaz para eliminar las manifestaciones clínicas de esa inflamación, validada por un nivel de significación de 0,03.

A controlled clinical therapeutical trial was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of the peloidotherapy and kinesiotherapy in 64 patients with primary adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder, assisted in the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of Dr Juan Bruno Zayas Alfonso Teaching General Hospital in Santiago de Cuba from January, 2006 to January, 2007. Two groups were conformed (study and control groups) of 32 members in each: the first group received peloidotherapy and kinesiotherapy; the second group: electrotherapy and kinesiotherapy. At the 10 therapeutic sessions a great number of patients of the study group had improved, while those of the control group needed more than 20 sessions to achieve this. At the 3 months the improvement continued in 90,6 percent of the first group patients, reason why it was stated that the peloidotherapy and kinesiotherapy combination was more effective to eliminate the clinical manifestations of that inflammation, validated by a significance level of 0,03.
