Apoio social e o cuidado integral à saúde do idoso / Social support and comprehensive health care for the elderly

Resumo O crescente envelhecimento populacional e as transformações socioculturais do nosso tempo conduzem a novas necessidades, não somente de cuidado, mas também para atender a uma nova perspectiva do conceito de saúde, no qual cuidar da doença se tornou ação limitada. Este estudo trata-se de um ensaio baseado na literatura científica e se propõe a pensar sobre uma pequena parte desta grande questão: o apoio social como parte da atenção integral à saúde do idoso. Para isso, realizou-se uma revisão narrativa da literatura nas bases de dados Pub Med/MedLine, Crochane e Scopus, bem como nas listas de referências dos artigos encontrados. Parte-se da compreensão do papel do apoio social e das redes microssociais na saúde do idoso. A seguir, discutimos formas de avaliar o apoio e a rede social e refletimos sobre o papel do apoio social no Sistema Único de Saúde. Por fim, aborda-se o manejo do apoio social. Como considerações finais, são destacados os principais desafios para que o Apoio Social seja realmente considerado um determinante da saúde das pessoas.

Abstract The growing population aging and socio-cultural changes of our time lead to new needs, not only care, but also to meet a new perspective of the concept of health care in which the disease has become of limited action. This study is an essay based on the scientific literature and proposes to think about a small part of this great question: social support as part of comprehensive health care for older persons. For this, a narrative review of the literature was made in Pub Med / MedLine, Crochane and Scopus databases, as well as in the reference lists of the articles found. It is part of understanding the role of social support and micro social networks on the health of older persons. Next, we discuss ways to assess the support and the social network and reflect on the role of social support in the Unified Health System. Finally, it approaches the management of social support. As final considerations the main challenges for the social support is actually considered as a determinant of human health are highlighted.

Atenção fisioterapêutica em duas unidades básicas de saúde em um município do Rio Grande do Norte: um contato humanizado / Physiotherapy attention in two basic health units in a city in Rio Grande do Norte: a humanized contact

Introdução: a busca pela qualidade de vida e por um paciente ativo permeou as realidades fisioterapêuticas em todos os aspectos. Ainda, a promoção e a prevenção deixaram de ser coadjuvantes e adentraram fielmente nos atendimentos de base da fisioterapia na atenção primária. Visto isso, o objetivo deste trabalho é relatar as experiências vividas por graduandos e professores de graduação em Fisioterapia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN/FACISA), na disciplina aplicada de Atenção Fisioterapêutica em Cardiologia e Pneumologia e, ainda, promover o enfoque da fisioterapia na vida da comunidade. Desenvolvimento: as atividades foram realizadas na escola, com professores (motivacional e dinamizado) e estudantes (lúdico e participativo) e, na unidade básica de saúde, na sala de espera (palestras educativas) e com os agentes comunitários de saúde (capacitação e importância do trabalho em grupo). Ainda foram realizadas atividades em praça pública (prática de pressão arterial e glicemia) e promovidos atendimentos domiciliares ao longo da disciplina. Conclusão: a fisioterapia se insere integralmente na atenção básica com políticas principais de promoção de qualidade de vida e prevenção de agravos. Para tanto, faz-se necessário um atendimento humanizado e global, garantindo todos os pilares de construção do SUS.

Introduction: the search for quality of life and an active patient permeated the realities of physiotherapy in all aspects. Further, promotion and prevention are no longer adjuncts and have truly been integrated in physiotherapy-based attention in primary care. Thus, the aim of this study is to report the experiences of students and professors in undergraduate Physiotherapy at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN/ FACISA) in the applied discipline of Physiotherapy Care in Cardiology and Pulmonology, and further, to promote the focus on physiotherapy in the life of the community. Development: the activities were conducted in the school, with professors (motivational and energetic) and students (playful and participatory), and in the basic health unit, in the waiting room (educational talks), and with the community health workers (empowerment and the importance of group work). Further activities were conducted in public locations (checking blood pressure and glucose), and homecare visits were promoted throughout the course. Conclusion: physiotherapy forms an integral part of primary care, with the main policies of promoting quality of life and disease prevention. Therefore, humanized and comprehensive attention is necessary, affirming all the pillars that form the Unified Health System (SUS).
